What a week, hey? Looks like I’ve survived though, and I’m obviously glad you all did too or I’d have no one left to chat shit to.
Nothing much of interest has happened thus far this week, or in fact last week, aside from work, work , work, nearly mowing someone down on Wednesday (the little heathen just wandered out in front of my fast moving car, confident as you please, headphones in, hood up, after looking neither left or right. Super Ted would NOT have been impressed), then on Saturday there was that afternoon stuffing my face at Gusto, a useful appointment with the chiropractor and a canny little afternoon tea at a place in Seaham called Let There Be Crumbs with an old pal. Check that last one out if you get the chance. Seaham is a smidge off the radar for me but I’m glad I made the effort; I was pleasantly surprised.

To counteract the dull week and in an attempt to stay cool, hip and relevant I thought I’d knock up a quick Favourite Things post before the weekend hits and I’m too busy having all the fun/wine. That and the fact that I’m head over heels in lust with all of these things and keeping them to myself doesn’t seem fair. I want them ALL immediately.

I’ve already picked up a few bits and bobs to tick a few things off this list. For example those turquoise H&M shorts and, if you follow me on Instagram, you may recognise the Accessorize bikini. And if you’re not following me on Instagram then sort it out. The link’s here. You’ve got no excuse now, lazy twats. If the French Connection dress looks familiar it’s because it’s the outfit I picked out for the FCUK Cant Help My Selfie campaign. The bikini was something I spotted in the Accessorize in the airport en route to Paris and loved. I decided I ‘needed’ a little pre-Dubai present to myself in anticipation of my next trip. I had planned to be there last week so I could see the Kings of Leon play on the sand at the Atlantis but I couldn’t quite make time off work line up with my sister actually being at home so it hasn’t happened yet and I’m sure I’m developing a vitamin D deficiency. Thankfully the sun has made a couple of merry appearances, even in Newcastle, so this wish list is uncharacteristically cheery. Note all the pairs of shorts. Very unusual. I hope we get some more good days so I actually get a chance to wear some of them around town. And if we do have more sunny days I’ll obviously be needing the rest of this stuff too, right..? That seems like as good an excuse as any.
