Damn. I was doing so well. Kind of. I’d done my wish list, I’d put my blinkers on, I was relatively content with my decisions.
Then my little sister came to stay, bringing with her the newest additions to her collection of designer clobber. Let’s just say it puts my smaller hoard of prized luxuries to shame.
Oddly, I suddenly want a new Chanel bag. I’m sure it has nothing to do with the serious case of Chanel envy I’m experiencing being in such close proximity to a certain new ‘Grand Shopping Tote’.
We go out for lunch, a coffee, a nice safe wander around Newcastle, planning to pop into Topshop and maybe have a mosey into H&M. However we stray from the plan and find ourselves in one of my favourite (slightly) hidden city-centre gems; Cruise. Oh dear. Dangerous waters a mere stones throw from my house.
Before you can say “Christian Louboutin” I’ve added to my wish list, nay, I’ve complied a whole bloomin’ new one. Below are the beauties that I stumbled across whilst my sister hunted for a new pair of ‘Choos. As per usual it’s quite heavy with Alexander McQueen pieces, no surprise there. What can I say? A girl can never have enough McQueen. So yes, these are the tasty things I’d be currently buying for myself if I didn’t have any actual friends/family/pets to buy Christmas presents for in the next month. It’s hard being selfless sometimes…

– Here’s the small print disclaimer bit: I’m not quite rich enough to own all the things I currently desire so, being that I’m unable to take these photos myself I have instead borrowed them from the Cruise website, linked and with their acknowledgment. So please feel free to click through and buy some things to say thanks, because this post would be rubbish if I just had to describe each item to you. Perhaps one day my room will be as full of designer clobber as the Cruise store is and I’ll be able to take all my own snaps.
