Nude’s Replenishing Night Oil has been hailed as a bit of a wonder-product on other beauty blogs and in magazines so I was really excited when I received a free sample of the stuff in a recent delivery from SpaceNK. (Thanks SpaceNK!)
It didn’t disappoint.
Generally I like to go bed with a totally clean, product-free face. Unless I’ve staggered home after one too many glasses of vin rouge and fallen, headfirst, into my pillow, both fully clothed and make-upped. A night time product doesn’t normally appeal to me, as I tend to wake up feeling slimy, but my curiosity got the better of me. After all, who am I to turn down a freebie, especially one so talked about as this!
So on night número uno I cleansed my face as per usual and opened the night oil. Firstly I’m struck by how beautiful it smells. I tentatively daub a little on my cheeks and am pleasently surprised to find it seems to blend really well. I add a little more and smooth it all over my face. A little really does go a long with the Nude products so careful not to apply too much.
The oil is wonderfully light and dry, it doesn’t make me feel like I’ve just smothered cooking oil on my face and absorbes quickly. I am currently trés impressed.
By the next morning I am even more impressed. I awake to fresh, slime-free, deliciously soft and plumped up skin. Honestly I feel like skipping downstairs for coffee, and beaming at the startled cat in delight. I ask my other-half if I look ‘younger’ and ‘dewy’ and ‘radiant’. He looks frightened. He’s clearly just stunned into silence by my new beauty.
Needless to say I’m a convert.
I, Sarah H Bosson, like Nude Replenishing Night Oil.
As I continue to use it over the week the results remain impressive and since running out I’ve coveted nothing else quite so much.
However at £44 a bottle it’s fairly steep and as I have a few other samples of night serums etc to use up I haven’t yet been able to justify spending that much. But that doesn’t mean I haven’t been telling anyone and everyone that will listen that they should pick up some of this Night Oil.
